A galaxy far, far away?

Recently, I have started realizing that we have already (or nearly) reached the future as viewed from many years ago. Technologies that are already being developed or even now implemented into the real world are multi-touch computer screens, virtual reality, uniquely-engineered substances, holograms, and even flying cars. Robots, too, are continually being updated and become more and more advanced every year. The only thing that leaves almost every person lacking these amazing products of science is cost, as well a scarce need for most of them..

MS Surface

I finally got the video my brother and I made completed. It is like 50 sec. long and is a parody for the commercials advertising Microsoft's new Surface computers. While my brother (20) and I (12) were joking around about how dum it was, I said, "And then you spill a cup of coffee on the $10,000 dollar "coffee table computer" and I all goes kapooe!" (Well, that's approximately what I said.) And this was approximately his answer: "It would be funny if we made a video..."

El Hobbito

What is this world coming to. Some Mexican dude is going to direct the Hobbit, in two parts, not to mention. Well, sorry, Americans, looks like your gonna have to suffer one of those 3-hour Pete Jackson flicks... in Spanish. Bilbo's gonna be some 90-year old Mexican monk, and all of the trolls and goblins are gonna have Mexican accents. I can just picture a serious scene where Elrond sets some guacamole and chips on the table, and wrinkly old Bilbo, worn from his journey, blurts out, "Gracias." The Dwarves are going to be the Mexican-midget rebellious type, all wearing sombreros and speaking in low, rumbly voices.
